A Successful 3rd Year of NATHEALTH Impact Awards.
Set against the backdrop of the 10th NATHEALTH Annual Summit Arogya Bharat 2024, scheduled for March 21st and 22nd 2024, the NATHEALTH Impact Awards, organized with Knowledge Partner IPE Global, are designed to celebrate commendable contributions in healthcare. These awards place specific emphasis on the interplay of Healthcare Innovation, Patient Safety, CSR Interventions, and Sustainability (Health & Climate). They are dedicated to acknowledge initiatives that have made substantial progress in establishing a more resilient and sustainable healthcare ecosystem.
About NATHEALTH & IPE Global
NATHEALTH, founded in 2012, is dedicated to uniting healthcare stakeholders in India and collaborating with policymakers to foster an ecosystem that propels advancements in universal healthcare. IPE Global, an International Development Consulting Firm, is the Knowledge Partner for the NATHEALTH Impact Awards, contributing valuable expertize to this collaborative initiative.
AWARD CATEGORIES, PROCESS & ELIGIBILITY
Categories:
Healthcare Innovation (Start-ups)
- Open to healthcare startups that over the past three years have introduced innovative solutions, technologies, or services to elevate healthcare delivery.
- Must demonstrate a measurable impact on patient care, efficiency, or overall healthcare outcomes.
Patient Safety (Providers)
- Open to healthcare providers, including hospitals and clinics.
- Providers must have executed effective initiatives or strategies to improve patient safety.
- Emphasis on the implementation of best practices, technology, or protocols that have resulted in improved patient safety outcomes.
CSR (NGOs/Foundations/PSUs/Corporates)
- Organizations working in funding or implementing healthcare solutions to improve healthcare delivery in India are eligible. This may include products or services.
- Measurable impact should be seen on patient care, delivery, and awareness in vulnerable communities in India.
- Collaborations with healthcare institutions, government bodies, or other stakeholders in promoting healthcare initiatives should be made.
Sustainability (Health & Climate)
- Open to organizations contributing to the intersection of health and climate sustainability.
- Eligible entities may include healthcare institutions implementing environmentally-friendly practices, organizations working on climate and health research, or initiatives promoting sustainable healthcare solutions.
- Demonstrated efforts towards reducing the environmental impact of healthcare activities.
Process and Criteria:
NATHEALTH is adopting a two-stage process to evaluate the CSR projects:
- Nominations will be reviewed and selected by an Independent Awards Committee. The shortlisting will be done under Relevance, Scientific/Evidence-Based, Replicable, Affordable, Scalable, Equitable, and Public Health Impact for each of the categories.
- The shortlisted nominations will be invited to present the project to the jury in an online or in-person mode, as appropriate.
Eligibility:
- The awards are for organizations implementing projects in India (non-members of NATHEALTH also considered). The CSR donor and/or the implementer both will be eligible to participate.
- There will be no nomination fee for filling the application.
- A single project is eligible to apply for a maximum of two categories.
The selected organizations showcasing impactful work will be awarded during the 10th NATHEALTH Annual Summit Arogya Bharat 2024 on March 22nd.
